There were many more viewers that saw season 1 compared to season 8 (season 1 finale - 52 million viewers, season 8 finale - 24.8 million viewers). Many more people know Rich & Rudy more, so it would lead to a larger draw-in of viewers I'd suppose.

Yea.... But Rob and Amber are everywhere.. On t.v in the magazines.. I'd say that people know who Rob and Amber are then Rich and Rudy... But they are well known!
