I CAN'T BELIVE THEY GRABBED 2 CLUES! Don't they have a guide book before the race that explains the rules.... I thoguth they were gone for sure... Did they shorten the time on the penelty? It seemed longer when a team did it in the 3rd season i believe.... Well, i can bet you they'll never do that again!

30 minutes is the standard time for minor mistakes. Then add the time they gained from the mistake to get the final penalty time.

Freddy&Kendra did not gain any time from this mistake, so it was just 30 minutes.

30 minutes for minor mistakes

24 hours for skipping a clue based on choice (i.e. if were tricked, the penalty would probably be less severe)...I just know for TAR1, Nancy & Emily chose not to do the Detour in Thailand and got a 24 hour penalty leading to their elimination.

I wonder if Don and MJ kept going with Adam and Rebecca's car would they have been penalized? Why oh why can't the rules be made clear.

Greetings...

Don and MJ would have most definately been penalized if they had continued on without retrieving he clue.  Most probable, they would have recieved the Big Day (24 hour) Penalty since they would have actually skipped a portion of the leg.  Should it make a difference why a team misses a leg of the race?  Hmm...

In my humble opinion, the rules are very clear when they start - people just kind of forget about some of the "minor" clues when they are in the heat of the moment.  It's easy to forget a rule or two as things are happening.

Until that time...

i think they will be penalized. if there wasn't a rule against it, they would've just continued in the car. i think.

Oops. Don and MJ WERE penalized. They didn't show  it last week because it didn't affect the standings/placements.

Wait. Yes, I think. I remember Don and MJ finishing ahead of Freddy and Kendra last week. F and K was last before Lena and Kristy and Meredith and Maria arrived, weren't they? But F and K started first than Don and MJ this week...

They would not have known at the time that Don and MJ arrived at the mat to penalize them at that time.  So I guess the two friends were far enough back, it didn't matter.  Too bad, it would have been funny to see the last team eliminated back the next week and a different team GONE.

Is there another shuffling coming next week.  I didn't notice any violations last night, but the CBS website Leader Board has the following error:
Adam / Rebecca - 5th
Freddy / Kendra - 6th
Lori / Bolo - 5th

Is this a mistake or did Lori scare Phil that much to move them up?

I noticed that too, but I can't think of anyone doing anything wrong... Must be a typo.

They probably gave them a penelty before they left and it was before Feddy and Kendra so they switchedd... Like if They arrived at 2:00 (They didn't) And Freddy and Kendra arrived at 2:15 (They didn't) and D/MJ got a 30 minuets penelty then they would be at 2:30 putting Freddy and Kendra ahead of them... Get it now? It was kinda confusing to write.. I was getting myself confused...
