Note: Thanks to JP for giving me this great idea for a recap. Also, I didn't really talk to C&M about this. I just made it all up in my head. I get bored easily.

Me : Hey this is Heather from Forumsnet here. With me today, on this Amazing Tuesday is two of our Racers from the Amazing Race 5. Presented to you, Charla Faddoul and Mirna Hindoyan.

Mirna : Hey.
Me : *whispers* JP's a big fan of you guys you know.....
Charla : HI JP!!!!!

The Amazing Race theme song playing on the TV.
Kris and Jon, who were the first to arrive at 2:47 PM, will depart at 2:47 AM.
Mirna : This team is one of the few that I actually like this time...
Me : I agree. All the other teams do is complain.

Jonathan and Victoria depart second.
Me : See? Perfect example right here.
Charla : I don't think anyone likes him... Angry

Don and Mary Jean, who arrived in 7th last leg...............
Me : ... uh oh.
Will recieve a 30 minute time penalty for accidentally taking the wrong car last leg. Instead, Adam and Rebecca will depart 7th, leaving Don and Mary Jean in 8th.
Charla : Oh crap...
Me : Nooooooooooooooo! Angry

...the train station doesn't open until 6 AM.
Me : All the teams are going to catch up.
The train takes them from Voss, Norway, to Stockholm, Sweden. Once there they must find the Ice Bar, which is kept at 23 Degrees Fahrenheit. Then the teams must slide a drink down the ice bar onto a red target. If they miss they must go to the back of the line.

Charla : They're lost.
Me : (Sure enough, Gus and Hera are lost in the middle of Stockholm.)
Mirna : Look, they did it! Grin

Kris and Jon were the first to complete the task. RRrrrrrriiipppp!
K&J : Teams must go to the largest IKEA store.
The store doesn't open until 10 AM.
Charla : The teams are going to catch up again.

10 AM. All the teams enter the store.
Me : If I ran through the store like that, I'd get in trouble. Wink

Rrrrrriipppp! Detour - Count It or Build It. A detour is a choice between two tasks, each with it's own pros and cons. In Count It, teams must count the items in this box. If they get the number wrong, they must start over. In Build It, teams must assemble one of these desks correctly.
Mirna : Oh my god.
Me : How many of those things ARE there?
There are 2304 items in each box.

Bolo : 64, 66, 68, 80....
Charla : Oh boy.
Me : This could take a while...

Kris and Jon are the first team done with building the desk, and Gus and Hera are second.
Hera: My dad was the surgeon, and I was the nurse.
Jonathan : They got their clue, Victoria!!!
Me : Please shut up. He's worse than Colin ever was.
Mirna : That's pretty bad.
The next clue is to travel to a rural farm in Haggvik, by tandem bicycle for 2 miles.

Me : Did he just try to hit her Huh

Mirna : I think so.
Me : *deletes obscenities*

Don and Mary Jean are about to give up.
Don : Please. We're 40 years older than everyone else...
Me : LOL, too bad that won't work. I like this team....
Me : *on internet* Hey, Mirna look at this....
Charla and Mirna : ?
Me : *reading recap from site* "That comment would have made Charla & Mirna proud."
Charla : What's that supposed to mean Huh

Roadblock. Who's got hay fever? In this Roadblock, one member must search through the bales of hay until they find a clue. There are 270 hay bales and only 20 clues. Each member of the team can only do 6 Roadblocks in the whole race.
Kris and Jon arrive first at the RB, and are also the first to leave.
Me : I think this team will be the next Colin and Christie.
Mirna : LOL Except much nicer. Wink

Jonathan: Who's got hay fever? You do, Victoria!
Me : Why do all the guys make their girlfriends do the hard Roadblocks Huh

Grrr....

Gus volunteers and finds it quickly. Lori and Bolo and Don and Mary Jean leave the IKEA store last.
Me : Nooooo! They're my favorites! Don't get eliminated!
Charla : Grin

I like Lori and Bolo.

Hayden and Aaron are team number one, and Kris and Jon are second.
Charla : They are such a nice couple. I hope they go far. Grin

Gus and Hera come in third.
Me : There goes my chances at winning the FORT game.
At this point, many teams are passing by the sisters Lena and Kristy...
Me : Nooo..... one of my three favorite teams are going tonight.... JP's going to be really upset. Cry

(But at this point, I was so scared that Don and Mary Jean would be the ones to go.)

Jonathan and Victoria come in fourth.
Me (and everyone else in the world) : ...crap...
Adam and Rebecca come in fifth and Freddy and Kendra come in sixth.

Me : One of my favorites ARE going tonight.
Mirna : It might be a non elimination leg.
At this point, poor Lena and Kristy have been out there quite a long time. They were in 4th, but are now tied for last.

Bolo then finds the clue, and so does Don. Lena is still looking for the clue.
Lori and Bolo arrvive seventh, and Don and Mary Jean arrive eighth....

Me : Yes!!!!! Don and MJ are safe..... but Lena and Kristy had to go.....
Charla : I liked them....
Phil comes to the Pit Stop to tell them the last team checked in two hours ago. He told them that it was in fact, an elimination leg.
Me : Cry

Me : And so ends another great episode of the best reality show on TV. Thanks for coming along with me, Charla and Mirna.
C&M : Thanks for having us.
Me : All three of us will be back again, for The Amazing Race 6, Episode 5! Stay tuned!

but.. it was very saddening to see Lena and Kristy being eliminated.. Lena worked so much but luck is not on her side.... Sad
