1st try: I found it at the 8th bale i unrolled
2nd try: 7th bale
3rd try: 10th bale
4th try: 9th bale
5th try: 4th bale
6th try: 4th bale
7th try: 13th bale
 
From this, I had to unroll about 8 bales to find the clue.
