Experience Stockholm’s coolest bar – Icebar at Nordic Sea Hotel.
 
Icebar-the world’s first permanent ice bar, right in the heart of Stockholm. The interior is kept at below zero temperature -5°C all year round. All of the interior fittings, including the glasses, are made of pure, clear ice from the Torne River in northern Sweden. Icebar is run by Icehotel of Jukkasjärvi and Nordic Hotels in cooperation.
 
 
OPENING HOURS & PRICES
The Icebar will remain open all year round. (subject to changes)
 
Monday-Friday 4:30 p.m. – midnight
Saturday 3 p.m. – midnight
Sunday 5.15 p.m. - 10 p.m
 
The bar has capacity for 30 persons and is open to all,
group bookings can be made by calling +46 8 50 56 30 00.
Package price from SEK 140
Price includes warm clothing, choise of drink in ice glass, the "ice experience" and information.
Refill drink SEK 85
 
Children (with parents) up to 18 years of age SEK 50
 
To stay at the Nordic Sea Hotel, it costs US$100 in a single.

Lac Rose, Senegal
 
The Retba lake, better known as the pink lake (lac rose), its fame is due to the tone that changes from pink to mauve depending on the sunbeams intensity, also due to the famous French rally Paris-Dakar where the last leg of the rally is ran
 
The lake is located about 30 kilometers north of Dakar the capital, it is one of the location most visited on the Cap-Vert peninsula. In the area you will find many camp sites ready to welcome travelers.
 
The pink lake is a large lagoon not very deep and only a couple hundred meters from the ocean, it is surrounded by dunes and filaos. The color is due to the presence of a micro-organisms and a strong concentration of mineral.
Day and night, there is a reign of intense activity of hundreds of persons that work extracting salt (380 grams per liter). Sunken to their waist, the men dig out the crust of salt on the bottom and fill the pirogues that the women drag, at regular intervals to the bank. The salt gathered is then sold to middle-men.
