AR 6 - Ep 5 Recap - "I'm Not On Steroids"

Me : Hey Guys, you know what it is. It's time for The Amazing Race 6 Episode 5 recap......... or at least it should be. Where are my guest stars anyway?

Producer : Uhh.... they're not here yet.

Me : I have to start without them? ! ?

Amazing Race Theme song plays.

Kris and Jon, who arrived first at 12.52 PM, will depart at 12.52 AM.

Teams will make their way to a well known slave house. When it opens at 8:30 am the teams will all leave a rose in honor of the people who were sent there to become slaves.

Jonathan and Victoria depart.

Me : Oh no. How could anyone be upset that they're second...

My Brother : He's worse than Colin. (yea, he really DID say that part)

Lori and Bolo depart. Hayden and Aaron depart. Freddy and Kendra depart. Adam and Rebecca depart. Gus and Hera depart. Lastly, Don and MJ depart, over 2 hours later than the other teams. They have no money, so they must beg for it.

Teams must now make their way to, Berlin, Germany.

Me : Hey, that's one of the places I want to go to! Cheesy

*sound*

Mirna : Hey, we made it.

Me : What happened?

Charla : Darn Traffic..... *mumbles* We missed the beginning of TAR! Grr...

Aaron : Shut your mouth, Bolo.....

Bolo : Whatcha' going to do about it?

Me : Wait a minute! What's going on here? ! ? That was so fast, I couldn't even tell what was happening!

*rewinds tape*

Hayden : Just because you're 5'5" and on steroids....

Bolo : I'm not on steroids.

*commercial break*

Charla : It's like Colin all over again..... eep.

Mirna : She's at it again.........

Kendra : Big difference from ghetto third world...

Me : Gah... she is such an @ss.....

The teams are now in Berlin, Germany. The next clue is outside of the Berlin Wall. Some teams decide to go INSIDE the wall.

Detour - Beer or Brats?

In Beer, teams must go to a local bar and search for coasters with their pictures on them. In Brats, teams must use a sausage maker to make 5 7 inch long sausages.

*Edit: I'm sorry, I don't remember the order teams came in and I really can't check right now. So this isn't the right order. Sorry. Cheesy

Charla : Oh no. Not more food. Wink

Me : I think I would pick Brats.... LOL

Kris and Jon, Hayden and Aaron, Freddy and Kendra, and Gus and Hera pick to do Beer. * and Victoria.... err.... I mean, Jonathan and Victoria, Lori and Bolo, Adam and Rebecca, and Don and MJ pick to do Brats....

Me : Jonathan IS a brat.

All of us : LOL!

At this point, Bolo decides he's hungry, and eats part of the RAW sausage.

My mom : That could make you sick.... (my mom really said this too. We're all TAR fans here.)

After completing the Detour, Lori and Bolo decide to walk to the next clue instead of taking the cab. Actually, Bolo decided that, Lori complains most of the way.

Mirna : At least it's not Jonathan.

Me : Good point.

Roadblock - Who has a need for speed?
The Roadblock is to ride one of those soapbox derby cars down a hill in under 37 seconds.

Me : Isn't that just a remake of the luge in TAR5?

Note: Not in order.......
Jon (of Kris and Jon) does the RB in 35 seconds.
Jonathan (of Jonathan and Victoria) also does the RB in 35 seconds.
Lori does it in 35.15 seconds.
Hayden - 34:36 seconds.
Kendra - again, 35 seconds.
Rebecca - 34.79 seconds.
Hera - 35 seconds tying with another team....... sorry, uh... who was that anyway?
MJ - 35.48 seconds

Me : Not bad, guys! Wink

Teams are now making their way to the pit stop.

Teams arrive in the following order:
1. Freddy and Kendra
2. Jon and Victoria
3. Hayden and Aaron
4. Kris and Jon
5. Gus and Hera
6. Adam and Rebecca
7. Lori and Bolo

Me : Which means that Don and MJ were eliminated from the race.

Me : Charla, Mirna, thanks for coming on the show again.

C&M : No prob. Cheesy

Me : Heh, from now on, I'm leaving the recapping to the rest of you! Cheesy

Me : Note : When Jonathan found out that they were in second, he really went into a breakdown. He blamed Victoria for it, and starting screaming at her. She started to cry and he didn't even care. He really should have been disqualitied right there. (Sorry if I'm being too biased, but I think most of you would agree.) When poor Phil had to step in, I really thought they would be disqualitied. Or that she was going to quit. I feel so sorry for her....
