I thought it was a non-elimination too, but I was shocked it wasn't. I think the Detour was made to eliminate "unfit" teams like Gus and Hera. I think they could have caught up if they're first in the Railroad Museum, even if they chose the slower Detour (Paddle).

They really tried. They never argued and I think they were one of the best teams. I can't seem to pick a winning team. Everyone I like gets booted.  Undecided Undecided Undecided

If you "like" Jonathan and Victoria, they may get eliminated.  Wink

Gus/Hera were NICE people, but not exceptionally good racers. They were slow. Kris/Jon, Hayden/Aaron and Jon/Vic were faster and that helped them in the long run. It's not just wits in this race.

the thought of non-elimination crossed my mind. but i always try not to think that my team will survive the leg. i'd rather be wrong than be dissapointed.

You'll be negative for Lori and Bolo, I'll be positive.  Wink

I think if Hera just positioned herself in front of the pack as the Gate opens, she might have caught a lower number (for the trains. 1,2,3,etc..) and would have no problem. But she got bumped on the head! Sadness! Bruised and eliminated! Suckiest elimination you can have.  Sad

The suckiest elimination is to unroll 108 bales of hay for 8 hours and not ever find the clue.  Lips Sealed  Lips Sealed
