Budapest, Hungary Leg

Is the whole leg considered as leg 6 (meaning from berlin to hungary) or leg 6 & 7?

I dunno. It seems they didn't show us one Pit Stop, because the teams should be surprised if they found out it was a double leg. Right?

In a way, the 1st part of the Hungarian leg is a non-elimination leg (NEL). It's a double leg. In the 2nd part, Gus/Hera were eliminated. There's your missing NEL.

What do you think?

Could be, but I am still wondering why none of the teams were surprised to not find a Pit Stop. I am still thinking where the Pit Stop should be. Maybe between the ride from the trabant cars to the Train station? Was there a task between the two?

I think it was probably just one very long and grueling leg.

But the weird thing if it was a long leg was that no one was surprised. Or maybe they edited it out.

I think that this may be more typical than we know. We do know that there are takes and sections og the legs that are not shown on TV (such as Banff, Canada last season) Perhaps this whole leg had enough drama to justify showing it all to us?

Uhm, but it had two Detours and 2 Roadblocks (seemingly), so it's either the first Double Leg we have ever seen, or they edited out one Non-elimination Pit Stop.

Yes, but if you remember, Banff was sopposed to have a tepee building challenge that was edited out (and seemed to be a roadblock). That's why I think that no one was surprised is because there is always that number of challenges.

from what Phil said, it was indeed Leg 6. Last night's episode would be Leg 7.

Leg 6 is a double Leg. COOL!  Cool

maybe they were told beforehand that it would be a super leg or maybe their gasps of surprise (for doing so many tasks) were edited out.
