Welcome to TAR5 Critics Circle

This is the first time ever that racers from the past season will sit together and watch The Amazing Race 6. A lot of comments are to be said and sure we cant avoid all of them in thinking What if this leg was given to us? What are we to do? Would we have done this detour or the other one instead? Maybe this particular moment will attest Mirnas words Were a one big happy family! And guess what, the only privileged people thatll be able to eavesdrop on the 22 people conversation is none other than you guys! Lets enjoy

(Season 5 racers sits on 3 long couches and flat screen TV is in front of them. All ready to criticize and have some fun. Hit it!)

Departing the Pit Stop in first place is Lori and Bolo at 11:12pm.
Second is Kris and Jon at 12:01 am.
Third is Jonathan and Victoria at 12:02 am.
Fourth is Hayden and Aaron at 12:06 am.
Fifth is Adam and Rebecca at 12:07 am.
And last is Freddy and Kendra at 12:19 am.

Riiiiiiiiippp! The Clue says that teams must travel 7 miles to Budafok to find a winery. Once there, they had to follow the marked path to a 14,000-gallon wine cask, the largest in Hungary, for their next clue.

Nikki: Hey guys, pray!
Brandon: Yeah, ask guidance from the Lord before you leave.
Colin (whispering to Christie): Babe, is Jesus the Lord Brandon is talking about?
Christie: Oh I dont know Maybe! But sure its not the prodigal son.

Lori and Bolo arrived first at the winery. But to their dismay, it didnt open till 10:00 am the next morning. After waiting for minutes, all the other teams were able to catch up.

Alison: Oh at least they came there first and were not lost! Good for Lori her partner is excellent in directions and maps. Look they were able to find the clue location. Unlike some stupid person I know.
Donny: Or maybe because Lori isnt as dumb blonde as you are!

Teams slept at the sidewalks of Budapest. And as 10:00 am arrived everyone sprinted n the low-ceilinged corridors of the winery.

Riiiiiiiiippp! The Clue says that teams must fly to the town of Ajaccio on the Corsica, France and find Napoleons Birth house where they will find their next clue.

All teams were off but Kris and Jon decided to stop by a nearby Dog Grooming Salon and make reservations over the phone. Hmmm Sure they were quite successful in that, but for Kris nose, all it can say is Haaaa-choo!!!. Shes allergic to dogs.

At the airport, Lori and Bolo and Jonathan and Victoria, being on the lead were able to snag the tickets on the earliest flight. These tickets from Malev Air will fly them from Budapest to Lyon to Corsica. They might be on the same flight and also talking to each other but what they didnt know is that theyre just faking it! The superhero said "God, do I hate her. Just looking at her with her masculine voice. And about the superhero from the My-implants-are-frozen girl "He gets on your nerves after a while."

Mirna: Lori shouldve commented that hes a criminal and an abuser! Right guys? Oh Lori and Bolo might not have seen him push his wife and almost wrecked her head using the compartment door right?
Colin: Yeah! Criminal is fine
Marshall: Or maybe Disgusting!
Lance: Or Terrible!
Bob: Or Sick and disgusting!
Colin: Or maybe shes just jealous
Mirna: Hes a psycho, why would he be jealous?
Colin: Just Kidding Mirna.
All:Ha-ha-ha!

Malev flight is full so the remaining teams can only settle with Air France which will take them from Budapest to Paris to Corsica, 2nd fastest to Malev Air. Freddy and Kendra, Hayden and Aaron and Adam and Rebecca got their tickets for this flight. Last on this plane are Kris and Jon whove encountered a little problem after being shut down because AFs system was closed already. The agent wouldnt give them the tickets for this reason but after insisting on their reservation they found a loophole allowing the pair to join the other three Teams on this flight.

Arriving in Corsica in first place, the unlikely alliance of Lori and Bolo and Jonathan and Victoria found Napoleons house but discovered it was closed just minutes before they arrived. This is devastating again for the wrestlers because everyone will sure catch up again.

At 9:00am, teams walked up the stairs of Napoleons house where their next clue was given.

Riiiiiiiiippp! The clue contains a Fast Forward, last of only two in the entire race.
FF: To win the Fast Forward they had to make their way to a harbor and don old-style diving suits weighing more than 100 pounds each. Both Team members must walk across the ocean floor to a lobster trap to claim the Fast Forward award.

Next Clue: Teams must drive 100 miles to the city of Calvi and find Camp Rafalli, a camp for the French Foreign Legion to retrieve their next clue.

Adam and Rebecca decided to do the Fast Forward and reached the harbor first. They wore their diving suits and Rebecca headed down the bottom of the water and walked skillfully towards the lobster trap and got their clue. While on the other hand, Adam ballooned up because he wasnt able to release the air valve on his suit. Rebecca was up and Adam was pulled back to the shore. Rebecca said out of dissapointment This is not such a Fast Forward. This is a Slow Forward. Adam repeated the process and was able to do it this time by following the correct instructions. Gleefully he stated Now I can do it. Im not so bad!

Kami: A hundred pounds?! Karli we weigh as much as those suits!
Karli: Yeah Probably well end up not moving under the water for a long time. We wouldnt move even an inch. We wouldnt know what to do.
Chip (whispering to Kim): Boobie Cooper, these two arent using their heads again.
Kim: Yeah, I really wonder how we got along with them.
Chip: We didn't named them "The Bad Seeds" for nothing... And it gets worse when they become ditzy.

After winning the Fast Forward, Adam and Rebecca took a plane to the city of Calvi and drove to La Pietra, the Pitstop for this leg of the race.

On the way to Camp Rafalli, Jonathan screams at Victoria and blames her for not getting the Fast Forward. Jonathan yells Im pissed off. Its 100% your fault! Victoria gets pissed as well and answers back Okay Blame me until I commit suicide!. And then after passing other teams on their way he remarked Damn Im good!

Joyce: Geez! How can you be so obnoxious can somebody get?
Bob: Yeah honey, unlike him when you get pissed you just remain silent.
Joyce: Yeah... Its bad the grandparents are gone. Theyre like us you know! Loving!
Bob: And old

Detour at Camp Rafalli:

Riiiiiiiippp! Climb Up or Fly Behind
In Climb Up, each Team member had to use a mechanical ascender to climb a 45-foot rock wall. Once at the top, they had to find the terrace, where a French Legionnaire would give them a medal. After getting the medal, the Teams had to rappel 75 feet down to receive their next clue.
In Fly Behind, teams must choose a Zodiac boat. One teammate had to ride behind on an inflatable raft while the other rode inside the Zodiac and directed the driver to search among 25 buoys for one with a clue attached. While the task was not technically difficult, only 12 of the 25 buoys contained a clue.

Arriving first, Jonathan and Victoria and Lori and Bolo decided on Clim Up. But after a series of whining Jonathan and Victoria switched to Fly Behind. Victoria hoped into the boat and Jonathan flew with the huge inflatable. And a couple of tries, they found the clue.

Marsha: If we were there Dad, wed have to settle with Fly Behind because of your knee..
Jim: Yeah.. But maybe my knee has recovered by then. I wouldnt be that much injured.
Marsha: Speaking of injured, I wonder if Victoria will get injured. Thats not impossible with Jonathan around him all the time..
All: Yeeeeaaaaahhhhh!!!!

At the Camp Rafalli wall, Freddy and Kendra finished first followed by Kris and Jon. Third to finish was Lori and Bolo and last was Hayden and Aaron.

Next Clue: Teams must drive nearly 10 miles to a winery in the village of Zilia to find their next route marker.

Erika: Good thing they have their own cars. Why didnt we have cars way back there at Uruguay? Maybe if we had one Dennis wouldnt need to give away our cab to other teams.
Dennis: Here we go againSorry because of me we got too little TV exposure.

Teams arrived and left Zilia in the following order:
Arrived Finished
1st    Freddy & Kendra-1st
2nd Jonathan & Victoria-4th
3rd Kris and Jon-2nd
4th    Lori & Bolo-3rd
5th    Hayden & Aaron-5th

Karen: Well, thats nothing compared to the Lagen Wall in El Nido. Right Colin?
Colin: Yeah I wouldnt probably need the speech from Christie if it was just as short as that.
Linda: Ha-ha! Christie and I were actually competing too down that wall in El Nido. Speech competition that is Youre lucky Colin shes a better motivator than me.
All: Ha-ha!

Teams got their final clue and it says head to the next Pitstop at La Prieta, Calvi. And that the last team to check in may be eliminated. Teams drove quickly and reached the Pitstop in the following order:

1st Adam & Rebecca
2nd Freddy & Kendra
3rd    Lori & Bolo
4th    Kris & Jon
5th    Jonathan and Victoria
6th    Hayden & Aaron (Not eliminated because its a non-elimination leg)

The two last teams had been bickering all throughout the day. This may be the reason why the fell at the back of the pack. Good news for Hayden and Aaron because this leg is one of several non-elimination legs so they were spared. On the other hand, First placers Adam and Rebecca received a trip to the Caribbeans courtesy of American Airlines.

Charla: This leg is boring! No eating Contests?! I wonder what the blood in the goblet tastes like during the last leg
Mirna: Thatd be yummy for you Charla!
Charla: I think so
Chip: Its a nice leg. I wonder if this was our race who would been last.
Kim: Yeah Its fun reminiscing about the old times huh!
Christie: Hope well have this again next episode!

I hope nothing offended any fan here... I just used some of the lines they've said during the race. No bad intention all.. Look how I made fun of Mirna as well... (Geez!
