Final 5 Discussion, and Final 3 Speculation

I just want to discuss/ask something about our Final 5 teams: Hayden/Aaron, Lori/Bolo, Kris/Jon, Freddy/Kendra, and Adam/Rebecca.

If you will notice, these teams are the only teams this season who had checked in the Pit Stop at Number 1. Two of them (L/B, A/R) were number one because of the Fast Forward. One has been saved by a non-elimination (H/A). H/A and K/J have multiple number 1 finishes. F/K fell to second to last in one leg. Thus K/J are, so far, the most consistent of the Racers.

My question: has it ever happened before, where the Final 5 teams are the most competitive (all have been number one before) in the season? I would discount AR4, because some of the teams who finished Number 1 got eliminated before Final 5 (then again there were multiple 1st place-ties that season).

My Speculation: It seems that H/A, K/J and F/K have been 1st placers without any help from the FF. I speculate they are the Final 3 teams.

Hmmmm... I agree with your final three list but with Hayden/Aaron Lori and Bolo will be the ones that take there place.

but then the world is round.. there are a lot of equalizers.. so we'll never know... Freddy and Kendra may have won... I hope not...

I think Freddy and Kendra would have made had Aaron and Hayden not kicked in this week. They were really awesome together this week. IF, however, they start to bicker and argue again, that third spot could go to Freddy/Kendra.

As for Adam/Rebecca, they argue and bicker too much to make it to final three...

Winning - can't decide. I think Kris and Jon have run the best race, but I really like Lori and Bolo and think it would be fun to see them win!

Technically, Leg 6 is a double Leg, and it seems there isn't a Non-elimination Pit Stop in the middle of that Leg, so, Lori and Bolo wasn't saved by a non-elim.

We have already seen 2 of 3 non-elims. The teams saved were Don and MJ, and Hayden and Aaron.

Adam and Rebecca finishes third.

Freddy and Kendra finishes second.

And Hayden and Aaron wins it...

Although, it would be inspirational if Adam and Rebecca would be winning it.

I brought the K/J editing = JVJ editing at Sucks, and one poster said that the editing were the same not because both teams are (or will be, in K/J's case) 4th Place finishers, but because both teams are "America's Sweetheart". So, it doesn't matter what K/J's position will be, they might even win, but their editing is "patterned" after the "America's Sweetheart theme".

I hope you're wrong when you said Lori and Bolo are out next! :crossfingers:
