AMAZING RACE 8- Families?

Hey all!
 
I was just reading over the eligibility requirements for AR8 (seeing if maybe they'd let Canadians in... not yet!) and I saw the following:
 
-AR8 Teams are going to have FOUR members
-AR8 Teams are now families (or families-in-the-making, or "blended families" (e.g. in-laws...)!
-The youngest eligible age is 12 (provided at least one team member is a parent/guardian over the age of 21)
 
I still haven't decided if this is a good thing or a bad thing... I just can't picture a race with teams of 4!
 
What do you guys think?

I'm not thinking its a real good idea...too many people to keep track of in one team.  Its going to slow the race down, and the frustration level goes up, this could be too much-they've gone too far now.   Undecided

Maybe they'll lessen the number of teams to 7 or summat.  Grin

yeah.. 4 in a team... that would be more chaotic.... plus if kids are allowed... that would be a big maintenance problem to them......
 
but at least they're making new twists for the race... and I hope it would be good.... and yeah.. they may lessen the number of teams....  
 
anyways.. I'm also snoopin' in trying to check if they'd allow foreigners to join the race too.. Grin

Wow!  What a huge change.  I wonder how things are going to be set up for this one.  4 people is a lot.  How can they really find families that have 4 members who want to, are available, and can play.
