Biography
Adam & Rebecca are an ex-couple that met at a spinning class. Rebecca's first impression of Adam was that he was gay, but after he pursued her for months, he proved otherwise. Both of them are spinning teachers/personal trainers.

Both say that they share similar sensibilities, are very competitive and are both interested in fitness, but are different in every other way. She is social, he isn't. She's outgoing, he's not. He is practical and prefers routine, while she is spontaneous.

Rebecca says she's doing the Race because she could use the cash, but Adam says his main motivation for doing THE AMAZING RACE is that after years of sitting on his couch watching the Race and saying, "I can do that," he wants to prove that he really can.

may i ask, what in the world is "spinning"? and why does it have to be taught?

though i must say that it doesn't sound masculine at all.

Spinning is a VERY difficult bicycling class. It requires a lot of discipline and muscle. i went to a spinning class before I got pregnant, and it was the most difficult thing I've ever done. Without the coach, I wouldn't have made it through and kept coming back. Coaches are definitely needed.

hellboy and his girlfriend. LOL.

i can't believe they didn't read the inside of the tank cover.

---

i disliked him in the part where he was angry at his girlfriend for filling the tank with gas while he himself said that he didn't think the car ran on diesel.

LOL. i just remembered when they just got from the airport and she was rambling about iceland being like scotland and he cutting her off.

also, it is beyond me why an ex-couple would want to be teamed up.

Greetings...

I actually like "HellBoy" and his girl.  I think that they make for some very interesting TV and think that they will have some very interesting moments in the upcoming episodes.

I don't see them winning - I'll be rooting for them, but I just don't see them being strong enough to survive this race.  Especially considering the whole "Diesel" affair.

Seriously - who in their right mind *doesn't* at least look at the fuel tank before filling up a foriegn car; especially in a country where Diesel is offered with regular?  You'd think that they would have at least watched *some* of the previous races in preparing for this one.

Adam and Rebecca!!  Go for it!

Until that time...

Congratulations, Hellboy and Hellgirl (my nickname for Rebecca)

You are the 5th team to pump unleaded into a vehicle suited for diesel!! Keep up the "good" work.

(The other 4 are Flo/Zach, Aaron/Arrianne, Teri/Ian, Micheal/Amy)

I don't mind seeing them at the final 5 though.

I have to say even though I thought these two were annoying at times and jerks to each other on occasion, I did think that Adam handled the whole diesel gas thing better than half the other guys in the race this time would have.  He never blew up and screamed or even really blamed.  He recognized he was upset and just calmly asked Rebecca to give him some space to cool down.  When he commented about the reading the gas tank lid, he said all "WE" had to do was read.  He never pointed the finger at her, even though it was clearly her fault, but kept a team mentality about it.  I personally thought he handled a very stressful situation pretty well, all things considered.

He still somewhat reminds me of a bad ex-boyfriend I dated... that jades my opinion of him... a lot.

OMG... what a wuss... terrified of the zip line, then screamed like a girl all the way down... and that "Mom, I love you" nonsense... sheesh.. followed by the "you made me lose my glasses" and "let me just get in the trash" routine... Rebecca should have found a better partner.. this guy is total loser... Sad
