Lordy, once again we appear to have a handful of people who never watched or absorbed the smart lessons from past seasons. The most important rule is never ever focus on another team. Focus on YOUR team. Care about what it takes to get to the finish line each time, not what it takes to stop another team from getting there. This is not Survivor, you don't need to plot the downfall of another competitor, you simply need to do your best. Focusing on another team causes you to lose focus of the race and what your own team is doing...sigh.

Sometimes slowing down briefly to think things through, DOES win the race. You can run off freaking out all scatter brained...that's how you make stupid mistakes and lose the race. For example, if you're at an airport and there are multiple cabs, stopping to check how much gas is in the tank on a cab or if they speak english is a SMART slowdown. Jumping into a random cab just because it's in front of you is an easy way to get eliminated.

I wouldn't say that Freddy and Kendra spent their time focusing on another team, until Adam and Rebecca yielded them. Then they really did make a boneheaded decision to yield Adam and Rebecca rather than one of the stronger teams left. In the end it didn't hurt them, but it easily could have.

I don't agree with slow and steady wins the race.....Freddy and Kendra were often the team to beat in the last season, Chip and Kim got off to a bad start, but quickly recovered, Reichen and Chip were a very competitive team, Flo and Zach........still can't figure out how they won, and the other 2 teams were also very competitive.
