This episode wasn't the best to me.However, it definantly changed my interests in teams I like/dislike and Debbie was a lot less snotty. I also didn't really like the first roadblock, kinda boring. I like the footraces to the finish though, keep it up. I think I would only give this episode a 6.5/10.

He is such an arrogant jackass. He was bad in this episode, but then in the preview for next week he is even worse. How Amber can stand that i don't have a clue.

I admit i have never watched before, so maybe his attitude is not uncommon. however none of the other teams are acting like that, so i have to assume he is the exception.

Last night was my first ep. of this season for me. I have to say I really don't like the idea of Romber being on the show. To me it is all a big publicity grab to help their ratings. How many other good teams were left off just to make room for them?

Nothing personal against them but I just don't like the idea of a "known" couple doing the show. Might as well get other celebs to do the show.

I do agree w/ you. Romber have already received advantage because of their celeb status. When they are recognized by travelers or locals, you can't tell me they won't get help before the others.

Ok, they are celebrities. BUT, Rob and Amber (ok, Rob only) deserves to do the Amazing Race also because of his skills. If you have watched previous Seasons, you will know that Rob has shown qualities of a good Racer.

1. Talking to the locals for information. Whether it would be bus tickets, locations, or whatever, this is one move a Racer should always try to do. He asked a local to find out the best Bus to ride. It was perfectly acceptable that he not share it to others if he doesn't want to. This is a Race, not a field trip! Debbie/Bianca's and Lynn/Alex's whining were unnecessary. They were just pissed off because they were outwitted (haha!). Talking to the bus driver (about not opening the back door of the bus) is also one good move that will buy his team time and give them a lead over the others.

2. Being calm. Yeah, I know Amber is dull but at least they don't bicker, which will save them time and energy.

3. Think before acting. Before they chose the Detour, they considered the factors that might affect their choice. They know that they're running out of money (which was required for the Market Detour), so they opted for the other Detour (which required no money). Other teams just jumped in on the Market Detour and then they find out they're money is not enough! A stupid move for them.

Over-all, I like this episode because we get to know more how well each teams play. This is actually one of the best episodes I saw because of the multiple Race strategies.

I am with AOM on this one. I think Rob is an appalling person. And yes he did lie, when he said he did not tell the guard not to tell about the buses. I have no respect for anyone who has to hurt others to get ahead and I think that is his modus operandi.

I also think Rober is the next Trista/Ryan :barf:

I read that they are considering televising their wedding. To me, this is all just to keep their name in the public eye.

I would not mind them doing TAR if is was an all celebrity/reality race. I think their status gives them an unfair advantage and this should be a level playing field.

I actually enjoyed Rob and Amber in the first show, and I'm not a Romber fan. The second show, showed Rob's scheming side, and I realized, he's playing AR like Survivor. (I couldn't stand him on Survivor) I'm beginning to think they might be disqualified when they step over the line at some point. If you can keep info to yourself, use your smarts, it shouldn't be necessary to sabotage other teams. That might be allowed under the rules but it makes me dislike Romber, and not want them to continue in the game.

They definitely have the potential to make it far but I sense they will get yielded soon.

Question: Rob is the very first racer who bribe people to get ahead??

Anyway, episode 2 was great..! teams got they're own strategies. some showed how stupid they are on a race and definitely get eliminated soon...
