True, that they could give them a time penalty.... could be like an automatic yield type of thing... or they could make them miss the first flight after they let all the teams leave the pit stop... although thats kind of like a yield... Good question... im curious for the answer... I think ep.3 could be a non-elim because if you look back at TAR6, ep.3 was a non-elim where as Don/Mary-Jean didnt get eliminated...

It was episode 4 in TAR6 when Don and MJ didn't get eliminated.

Something happened in TAR6 so they change the rule.
Maybe it's because Don/MJ borrowed some money from Jonathan so now they change the rule. No more borrowing. Maybe.

Also, when Hayden/Aaron came in last in the last leg then first in the next Leg, maybe they thought money-stripping is still to easy.

Maybe reprieved teams will have to do both Detours.  Grin

both detours?! oh wow i never thought of that..that could possibly be it..hehe,..yea i think they are realizing that taking away the teams money, really doesnt slow down the teams, because it has never really ruined a team..i cant wait to see what the new twist is..
my guess would be maybe both contestants have to do the roadblock..but what ever the new twist is..its going to be fun to see..as long as its not Debbie and Bianca who come last on the non-elimination leg
lol! Grin

Well if Debbie and Bianca come last in the non-elimination leg, than i'd rather just not see the new twist..lol hehe its ok..save it for when another team comes last
lol
J/K
ill know tho if its to be continued, because like the budapest leg in tar6 where it was two be continued, the episode usual showed the teams doing more thing and in more detail, so u could tell that there was no way that a pit stop could be included in the episode  Wink

Then i re phrase myself... there should be a deleted scenes episode after the Amazing Race 7 is done. The recaps I found were borning having watched the whole seasonn over and over again.
