You dont have to check your bags at airports
You dont have to waste time puting stuff in trunks
You dont have to waste time taking stuff out of trunks
You can run faster.

M/G had there best leg just after recieving the somewhat bad news for the leg.

OH geez who cares lol sorry hehehe!!! Well Yea you are so right racedude122003...they benefit more from losing their backpacks then from having them!! No one suspected that Phil would take away all their things eh? LOL!  Shocked

Oh and what's up with the whole thing of sometimes they give away prizes for the first teams....I mean Ron and Kelly don't get anything, but Ray and Deana get 2 cars!  Shocked Sad

Yeah, I realised that too.  It does give them some advantage.

But what if they all of a sudden go to a cold country - will they get coats/gloves/scares, etc...like the rest of the teams?  I remember reading somewhere that they are given clothes like this when they go to cold countries.

if anyone truly thought it was an advantage to race without a pack, then they wouldn't have taken one in the first place.  i think M/G will be collecting money and buying clothes during the next pitstop (assuming they survive).

but maybe the locals won't help them as much if they had bad breath from not having toothbrushes or body odor for not having deodorant. Grin

i'm sure they're going to buy provisions during the rest period, but clothes and food are more important for now that toiletries but that could still affect them as said earlier.

im not sure..the reason why there isnt prizes for every leg is because they spend a lot of money buying extra special prizes and they have to cut some legs out for no prizes
