I am utterly astounded and excited about Gretchen and Meredith this season. They have done surprisingly well, especially after everything they've gone through thus far. I bet after tonight's elimination of Brian and Greg felt like a slap in the face to Ray and Deana. I'm sure they were in shock that M/G are still in this thing. People say that Teri and Ian from Season 3 were old. However, I figured out that they were closer in age to Chip and Kim than Meredith and Gretchen (they're both nearly 70.) (Teri and Ian were early 50's.) So, all I'm really saying is, "Kudos and hats off to Gretchen and Meredith, and may they make it to the end!"

These two are my favorites. Like Gretchen said, they have hung in there against much more competetive and younger couples and they are still going strong. I am totally proud of them. They are holding their own!!

Thanks all! I'm so glad so many other people are fans of M/G! I don't understand how people can't like this couple. Almost every episode they've barely escaped elimination. If they can just keep that up they'll make the Final 3! (Which, by the way would be completely and totally awesome!) Anybody who bashes Gretchen needs to turn 65 years old, run in a race around the world, fall in a cave and cut their face open, and stay in that race for two more legs with nothing but their clothes on their back, all with an optimistic attitude.
