I think Charla and Mirna started out as underdogs. No one thought she could do it, stupid people. lol. Tv guide gave them the worst odds. But then finally people realized, Hey, they're racing too ya know. Cheesy

Charla and Mirna were one of the best teams to ever race, and it's funny because they were never even #1..they were only 2nd 3 times, but they were only in the race for 7 legs, and in the top 5 each time, except for the leg they were eliminated

Here is what I truly believe the underdogs are.

5th: Charla and Mirna were expected to go first, but adapted and got far.

4th: Gus and Hera- Same reason

3rd: Teri and Ian: For five legs their highest rank was 7th but made it to the finals

2nd: Don and Mary Jean were the oldest team to run TAR when TAR 6 aired. They went farther than I expected.

THE BIGGEST UNDERDOGS: Meredith and Gretchen: It has to be. They are the oldest team to ever do TAR. Their highest ranking until final 5 was 5th. They capitalized on others bad choices and bad luck, and landed a 4th place finish.
