Ok first off I have to give kudos to Uchenna and Joyce for running an outstanding game, and for winning the race. My heart was really set on Rob and Amber to win the whole shebang though. I admit I was a little disappointed to see that Rob and Amber came in second...but wait what's that?
This season has been big talk at the local eatery here in Hinton Alberta Canada (Boston Pizza). The finale more so then any other episode though. People have now called me the Reality detective! We were all standing around talking about the finale when out of the blue I asked everyone if they noticed something fishy about the last race. Everyone kinda looked at me weird and I went on to ask "Were Rob and Amber not right there when Uchenna and Joyce were asking for money, in plain view of the two. Was there not a camera shot from inside Rob and Ambers cab showing how close indeed they were?" Everyone went silent and thought for a moment and the said...yeah I was just thinking about that. I was wondering what happened to Rob and Amber, cause there was a good ten minutes of not seeing them at all...and is it not kinda funny how the cabbie didn't have all the money and said that will do, after being so set in his ways about retrieving the cash from them. And what did happen to the cab Rob and Amber were in. They were there one minute and boom all of a sudden they were not in sight at all.
It does seem strange to me. A lot of people are now speculating whether or not the producers offered Rob and Amber a deal near the finish line. Was money involved, if so, why Rob and Amber why?? When Rob and Amber got to the finish line they did not seem disappointed in the least. Hmmm...this raised a few eyebrows around town...

Yup, I noticed that too. But I think CBS wanted to make the race closer. After all, Rob and Amber are a good 30 mins behind.

I think that even if Rob and Amber had pulled up in time to see U/J, it doesn't matter.

U/J had already run into the park or whatever and Romber were to far behind for a footrace, so they just held them back at the gate so that all the U/J congrats and speeches could occur. When all the was done, they let them in. Not a big deal. And the cabby didn't back down, they had to pay him everything. they owed him 45 dollars and they gave it to him

I think they edited it to look like Rob and Amber where right there, but where actually a good deal of time behind, just to add drama...I think the cab driver was just fed up and forgot about the little bit of money they owed.. It wasn't that much iot was at the most 5 dollars.

Besides we all know it's all in the editing. Teams are made to look real close to each other but they could be like a half an hour or more behind.

I so saw that, and i so agree, something must have happened. I seriously remember it now, i was thinking omg its gonna be a footrace then its like they are a few km away like what the heck happened!!! So im pissed now, and they still dont have enough money yet the cabbie says its ok, so ' Huh

I.E, do you guys remember the footrace in TAR6 where Hayden and Aaron came last on a non-elimination leg and where stripped of all their money? Well remember who they were racing against? That's right, Jon and Vic! And when they were running, I clearly remember Jon or Vic, whichever it was, one of them said "There's Hayden and Aaron" and then Jon and Vic came in before Hayden and Aaron, and there was no view of Hayden and Aaron running in behind them..

Nope about 5 minutes later Hayden and Aaron came, so I think sometimes either they take words that were said by thoose people and edit it in, or they just told Jon and Vic to say that so it looked like Hayden and Aaron had a chance, when really they didn't..

They might have thought they saw them, or have really saw them, because I saw Jon's mouth moving, and they can't do voice overs if their mouth is moving...Plus it's easy to see a voice over, and there have been none on TAR that I saw

Maby because they were there..I remeber seeing them in the same screen shot, and I remember something happening, and it slowed Hayden and Aaon down...plus they didn't arrive 10 minutes later...at the most 5 Wink
