I think they need to have more minorities on the show, and I'm not saying that there should be an equal balance of caucasian and minority... But i mean, there are so few like spanish contestants or asian contestants. i wanna see some spanish or asian contestants because they have different cultures, and have different reactions and opinions about the world.

Well no offense to America, but there arn't many different cultures in America...I actually read a statistic somewhere..not sure if it's true cant remember it exactly though it said something like 80% of America is white..true...

Im not saying there arn't many different cultures, but not as many as Canada..and Canadians arn't allowed to run the race(TAR)! So, yea..that's probably why..and I think they're afraid if they put someone on TAR with a different skin colour, that there will be racism....problems like that...

Where did you read that? That is completly false. There are so many "minoritys" that America had to add Spanish as one of it's official language. America had lots of cultures, and I think that probably not that many minoritys applied, and CBS isn't going to put on a very boring team just because they are a minority.

Although it would be nice to see some asina people on the show.

We're multicultural in canada, we dont have like any whites or people born here except a few. In america you can guarantee the number must be higher.

CBS put ron/kelly on the show just because they were a POW and a beuty queen, and they were so BORINGGGGGGGGGGGGG ! But you know what, I would rather want a fun exciting caucasian team than a boring minority team !

I agree. When was the last time you saw a brown (Indian) person, or Chinese (or other asian) people on not only TAR but other reality shows as well? This is just my opinion but I think that American people are more focused on certain types of people (models/athletes/the "All-American couple") being on shows that culturally diverse people. I personally think Canada is much more diverse. You say that Spanish was added as a second languae but French has always been Canada's second languge. I agree with zyxe that they put Ron/Kelly on the show because they were the all-american couple, but I thought they were boring and fought way too much.

I completely agree with you luckystarz... except the part about canada being more diverse, personally i think America is way more diverse. My elementary school had people from over 50 countries. And no I am not in elementary school anymore and here in new york, minorities outnumber whites, minorities meaning asian, african-american and hispanic.

In my school the minority is asians, but not by much our school is about

30% White
25%Hispanic

okay since there was a tryouts here in hollywood florida there is a lot of spanish people there barely any other culture so i imagine there would be spanish people on the race one more thing if you notice there is only one black team in every race ii think ar6-gusd and hera ar7-uchenna and joyce some other race-chip and kim i think ?

Wait I think I read in an atlas about Americas population and how 80% are white cant find it..but im sure i read it somewhere.. it may not be true, cause I know america does have many different cultures, and when I say 80% white I don't mean like canadian or american white like they can be from anywhere lol

So far, we only have 1 Asian contestant to run the race, and that's Kathy from TAR3. She is of Philippine descent.
