Why does everyone like The Amazing Race so much? The whole team concept bothers me, and I think they should compete individually. Surivor is so much better!

Just like JP, I'm a little bit lazy at the moment. But if you're gonna ask me why TAR is simply amazing, I'm afraid I'd have to write a whole essay just to express the feeling. You will hear from our avid posters here and you will be enlightened.

I suggest you read threads here in this part of the forum so you will know why TAR rox.. Or better yet, watch TAR! Grin

TAR rocks!!! It is the best show ever! I could write a comparison essay saying why TAR is better than Survivor (in my opinion). They get to go around the world and see all these cool places and do all sorts of cool things. And doing it with a partner makes it more fun because you get to make all these cool memories with someone you care for. It is the best show ever!!!!

I will start off by saying that I like Survivor better.

TAR is great because it's actually a show where teams tend to get eliminated due to their own actions and decisions rather than the actions and decisions of others (normally). They get to go all around the world and do fun stunts, so that alone makes it great. Also, these people are not deprived of food and sleep like the contestants on Survivor are, so they have more energy throughout the game and you get to see their personalities a lot. Also, there's the aspect of watching to people being forced to work closely together throughout the whole game in an attempt to help themselves.

TAR's a good show, but I still like Survivor and Big Brother better.

Woa..interesting topic..not a very good place to put it lol....well I AGREE WITH YOU LUCKYSTARZ!

The Amazing Race is awsome! First of all, you get to see many different places around the world....and it's sooo fun to watch the teams adapt to them! There are no words to describe the show...Actually before I even started watching it I thought it was silly how people would just race around the world..but then I watched it..and now im addicted Grin

It's totally addictive so you should watch it...

And when you watch it...you'll see what we mean...It's way to amazing to find the right words to describe it!

UMM ALSO TAR IS 600 BILLION TIMES BETTER THAN SURVIVOR

Because in survivor all you do is sit around on an island and starve youself..why do you like survivor so much Huh

??

Well tar they travel places, see new things...and it's fun to cheer your fav team..in survivor it's different

TAR is so much better than survivor. I think big brother and TAR are way better compared to survivor.

Omgsh how much boringer can survivor get! Sitting on an island starving to death! I don't know what people find amusing in that..please enlighten me superchic lol!!

Well.......... ok... let me start off by saying, I love TAR, Survivor, and Big Brother. But TAR's definitely my favorite. (BB's next) i think having teams is one of the best parts of the show... you see their relationships, both good and bad! And then they go all over the world, instead of on Survivor, only seeing one island. lol. You get to see all those neat places and learn something as well..... I think you should give TAR a shot. From what I've heard, everyone that watches an ep ends up getting hooked. Wink
