This is a reminder to everyone about not having abnormally large avatars and/or signatures. The larger your graphics, the more it reduces loading time on threads for our other members. When you get several of these in the same thread it really slows things down for our dial-up members, which is not ok. Please examine your avatar and signature and if you're unsure if it's ok or not, compare it to the guidelines listed in the news and rules section.

I would also like to mention the file sizes of your avatar. It may seem that your avatar is small, but the file size could be huge. The most appropriate file size for your avatar and/or signature should not exceed 20kb, IMO.

You can find out the file size of your avatar by right-clicking an image and clicking properties. The image's information will pop up which includes its file size.
