Tasks....

Which were the best tasks ever created, and which were the stupidest?

I think the onion chopping was totally stupid. I enjoyed the zorbing, skydiving and byngee-jumping tasks.

I think chopping onions and eating pizza is stupid. Zorbing is the best task ever, IMO.

I agree. The onions were stupid. Are they running out of ideas? Huh I also didn't like the one where they had to search in all those metal boxes for the clue.

I liked the zorbing... and the one in TAR5 where they had to climb down 120 feet down under the pyramids.  Grin

The onion chopping and pizza were definitely lame. I thought the pizza was particularly lame since it was the final task before the finish line. I thought the task of snow-shoing up to the continental divide was pretty cool, and then the bob-sled mountain bike task, both in TAR5.

Pizza was OK, after all Gino's East is rather famous, right?

The onion-chopping task was so lame that I actually cringed in shame, thinking "What would the new viewers of TAR will think!" I didn't find the pizza-eating the first time I watched it, but now that bobman mentioned it being in the final leg, the task does suck.

I remember a FF in TAR2, the one taken by Chris and Alex. They were in Australia I think. The task involved eating meatpies. DUH?  Roll Eyes It's not remotely challenging. Another FF in TAR2 was the one where a team will just look for a fortune teller and let the fortune teller tell them their fortunes. FF was taken by Gary and Dave.

At least the fortune telling wasn't too bad.

I enjoyed the FF where Tara and Wil went into a volcano to find the FF. And Blake and Paige on the speedboats looking for their FFs. (speedboats are a major attraction in Queenstown!)

I think, in TAR6, they made the clue an easy one(Gino's pizza, well it wasn't easy for Kendra Wink) because they wanted whichever team was ahead, to win fairly. I mean if it was a task that would take a long time, and someone else could catch up, then it wouldn't be really fair! Especially since it's the last leg!  Cheesy

I remember when Kendra was crying about the pizza. I was yelling at my TV screen, "It's just pizza! Eat it!"

OH I just remembered two more of my favorites.

The hockey detour in TAR5 -- Block 5 shots! I liked that one (but I think they did go easy on some of the teams  Wink)

And wasn't there a roadblock in TAR4 where they had to go for a lap in a race car? I think it was TAR4....
