Well, it seems to be that TAR8 will be most likely a race around North America..I amm soo not watching that..I knew tar8 family edition wasn't a good idea!!!! Let's hope this is not true!

CBS's "Amazing Race" hit a stumbling block when its contestants hit the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala., it was reported Thursday.
The New York Post said NASA officials refused to sign the network's $10 million confidentiality agreement aimed at preventing details of the Emmy-Award-winning show to leak out ahead of its airing.
The contestants reportedly performed a number of challenges at the Center Monday using several astronaut-training devices.
Although Space Center officials refused to sign the standard confidentiality agreements, they refused to give out any details of the taping, the Post said.
"Race" reportedly started filming last Thursday with 11 teams. Only 10 were present in Huntsville, meaning one elimination had already taken place.

Someone on TARflies mentioned that it might not be just a race around the US. They might be waiting until some teams are eliminated to go around the world to save money on flights, since there are a lot more people to buy tickets for.

I mean, I'd still watch either way. I'm sure they could find a lot of interesting places even staying in North America. Cheesy

There's been like soo many sightings in the U.S though, that if all the sightings are somewhat true..then like 4 teams would be left to leave the U.S eh..It's soo a race around North America..but Hopefully they will spend more time in Canada!!!!!!!

I think a race around the States is a great way to show the tradition and history of the country. It will fit in with the Family theme of TAR8. Kids watching the show will learn a lot of history about their own country. So I don't think a race around US will be that bad at all.

I don't see them taking kids out of the states anyways..the producers and stuff probably fear that something would happen in a foreign country! I mean adults that go on TAR sometimes have problems in other countries(food..time difference)

I still don't like the idea though.
