I e-mailed Gretchen, here is what she said:

Hi "Amazing Racer".......We are still travelling around doing our Tylenol endorsement but that should be finished this weekend. We are leaving tomorrow for Orlando to speak at a Media convention. Should be fun. Then by the end of this month things will slow down and we will be just plain ole Meredith and Gretchen. Our 15 min of fame will be coming to an end.
At the airports we are filmed, and sometimes on the flights for afew minutes. But if it's a long flight all of us try to relax, sleep etc, inckluding the camera crew.
The fundraiser was a wonderful thing. I think she raised over 65,000 dollars and the people of SC were just great to all of us. There were almost 50 teams and she had a wonderful, but difficult course mapped out for them. They all told us that they had so much better appreciation for us going for 45 days.
Uchenna and Joyce, Bianca teamed up with Patrick, Ray and Deana, Rob and Amber (although I heard that they had to have their plane fares paid for) we all paid our own way. Ron appeared the last few hours of the party but made an effort to drive from Atlanta, and Ryan and Chuck were there. Kelly is a fine person, and was in some ways portrayed badly. But I guess she and Ron were not compatible.
We are wondering if CBS will invite us to the Emmy's as our episode is the one that was used for the nomination.

Oh I for got to mention about the teams.
Don't know too much about the new teams. They all look interesting. Should be a fun show to watch although I heard they travelled alot in the US. I guess security for the yonger teams was a consideration.
