This team is my favorite of all eight seasons! Emily was so cool and Nancy was very motherly (but at the same time she was willing to bungee down a cliff in Africa). They got way far too! If only they hadn't of quit in Thailand...Oh well, they were awesome!

I am actually glad they were eliminated 5th because:

Nancy and Emily and Kevin and Drew would have fought it out for 4th place. I am taking my chances in saying that K/D would be 3rd and N/E would be 4th. But K/D would have been in the predicament that GUido was and be unable to cross the finish line. Had N/E come in 3rd they would have not been able to cross the finish line.

The reward for me was to see Nancy and Emily smiling and cheering on the winners at the finish line and seeing Guido not being able to cross the finish line...

Nancy and emily were definitely one of my favourite TAR teams ever as well.

Its nice to see how they connect and grow closer during the race. First they seema bit distant but they leave with such a strong relationship. I actually found them quite entertaining and inspiring Cheesy

When I get back to school I think I am going to make a collage of my favourite Reality stars and things to hang up

They were the best of season 1 and I remember so many things about them:Emily enjoying herself in the sports car in Italy,then all the 7th leg fearing about elimination,and of course there still hasn't been a much heated battle for the fast forward yet!If they had just taken the damn bus now they would have been the only female team to reach the final 3!! I read this at Sucks, but people were saying how Nancy and Emily were the only team not to use their fast forward, if they had taken the bus and made it to the final 4. Posters said how if they were in the final 4, they could have used the Fast Forward, and then possibly beat Kevin and Drew, and made it to the Final 3.

I totally forgot that they hadn't used the Fast Forward and could have used it to come in first. Then yes they could have come in the final 3 and Kevin and Drew would have still come in 4th

What has ever happened to them? Why weren't they on the DVDs or anything? I mean, I'm sure they were invited to do commentary for the DVDs because they were so well liked and made it to the Final 5. Heck, even Lenny and Karyn, the annoying team that was eliminated before them was on the DVD. I was sad about that... Sad

I didn't watch TAR 1 but i read the site and i think it's kind of cruel to be smacked with a 24 hours penalty when it's reduced to only 4 now... well, i feel sorry for them.

No it's not reduced. Brennan Swain (of TAR1's Rob and Brennan) posted in Sucks and told us that ever since the first season, the penalty for consciously skipping a Detour is 24-hours while skipping a RB is only 4 hours. He said the Detour penalty is harsher because you DO have a choice between 2 tasks, unlike in RBs where one member is forced to finish a task. No one really skipped the Roadblock until TAR6's Hayden and Aaron, I believe?

it makes sense that the detour has a bigger penalty since you have a choice of 2
