Since this was supposed to be done by SurvivorJuan and he already PMed JP to tell him that he don't have time for it, i'll just help with the recap once. It's my first time doing a recap though, so... Roll Eyes

Last week, ten teams raced from Săo Paolo to Brotas where Eric/Jeremy & BJ/Tyler finished in the top two positions once again. Fran/Barry escaped elimination by arriving ninth and in the end, Lisa/Joni became the second team eliminated from the race. With only nine teams remaining, who will be Philiminated... next?

Taranza Primavera de Serra, Brotas, Brazil

4:48 AM BJ/Tyler (1st)
Clue: Drive yourself 3 miles to the farm at kilometer 114 on SP227. Once there, ride a 300 foot zipline down into the valley to receive your next clue. You have $307 for this leg of the race.

5:01 AM Eric/Jeremy (2nd)
Jeremy: Cmon tiger! And then he slaps Erics rear end. Popo : OK, so the girls are fine and all, but when the race is AWN, its my BEST FRIENDS ass Ill be slapping.

5:18 AM Joseph/Monica (3rd)

5:28 AM Dave/Lori (4th)
Dave: We need to turn RIGHT.

Teams begin arriving at the farm with the zipline, which doesnt open until 7 am. Until then, the Hippies decide to amuse themselves by jumping out in front of everyone elses cars to make them freak out. For some reason, this just doesnt sound like a smart move to me.

6:31 AM Ray/Yolanda (5th)

6:32 AM Wanda/Desiree (6th)
Desiree: I think we go RIGHT.

Note that the last few teams have all been checking the map and finding that they need to turn RIGHT. In the meantime, the zipline opens, and we have minor bunching.

7:06 AM Lake/Michelle (7th) Michelle: I think we need to go RIGHT. Lake: No, lets go LEFT.

7:07 AM Danielle/Dani (8th)

So, Lake and Michelle get lost. And Lake blames it on Michelle. He sure needs to admit to his dumb mistakes.

8:24 AM Fran/Barry (9th)

Everyone eventually arrives at the zipline and finish the zipline in following order:

1. BJ/Tyler
2. Eric/Jeremy
3. Joseph/Monica
4. Dave/Lori
5. Ray/Yolanda
6. Wanda/Desiree
7. Danielle/Dani
8. Lake/Michelle
9. Fran/Barry

Teams must now travel over 7300 miles to Moscow, Russia! (Lake isn't very excited to go to Russia because of the cold weather in Russia, who cares?) Once there, teams will need to find the Chaika Bassain, once an Olympic Training Center for Russian high divers. But first, teams must travel to Brotas Bus Depot to take one of three charter busses to Săo Paolo to find a flight.

Teams arrive at the bus station and choose departures in the following order:

Bus 1, departs 9:15 AM

BJ/Tyler
Eric/Jeremy
Joseph/Monica
Dave/Lori

Bus 2, departs 10:00 AM

Ray/Yolanda
Wanda/Desiree
Danielle/Dani
Lake/Michelle (Michelle nearly forget about her race pack and the both of them started quarrelling again...)

Bus 3, departs 10:45 AM

Fran/Barry

Teams arrive at Săo Paolo International Airport. All teams book a flight to Moscow via Frankfurt, Germany, on Lufthansa Airlines. The Amazing Green Line bounces across the Atlantic to Frankfurt, and then playfully zips off to Moscow!

Teams get cabs and arrive at the Chaika Bassain to find a Roadblock.

ROADBLOCK:

Who wants to take the plunge?

In this roadblock, one team member must put on an Olympic style bathing suit and jump ten ten meters into the cold pool. Then, they must swim across the cold pool and dive underwater to get their next clue.

Teams finish the Roadblock in the following order

1. Tyler
2. Barry (They may not know how to choose a detour, but they certainly can hail a cab and arrive and finish the Roadblock second)
3. Yolanda (She can't swim, but she still done the Roadblock)
4. Lake (Because Michelle doesn't want to be seen in bathing suit in front of the Russians)
5. Eric (Hmmm, double nipple piercing?)
6. Dani
7. Monica
8. Lori (Phew, it's not Dave who did this Roadblock)
9. Wanda (Wanda : "I can die doing this Roadblock" and she dives, struggles on forever to get the clue and got it finally after all teams arrive at the pitstop. Not actually, she got it after a few tries though)

Teams must now travel 3 miles by taxi to Novodevichiy Monastery find the Shrine to the Virgin of Smolensk, where they will receive their next clue.

Teams arrive at the monastery and find the shrine, as well as the detour. They depart for the detour in the following order:

1-BJ/Tyler (Who actually take some time to stop and enjoy their surroundings. Its quite touching, but i still don't like them =P)
2. Lake/Michelle
3. Eric/Jeremy
4. Fran/Barry
5. Ray/Yolanda
6. Dave/Lori
7. Joseph/Monica
8. Wanda/Desiree
9. Danielle/Dani (Because they forgot all about their race bag at the pool and had to return to retrieve it)

DETOUR:

Scrub OR Scour

In Scrub: Teams travel to the trolley depot and wash BOTH inside and outside of their chosen trolley car. Once complete, the inspector will give them their next clue and they can determine their own fate in the race.

In Scour: Teams travel to Dubrovka Theater to find 1500 Russian nesting dolls. Teams must unnest the dolls to find one of TEN randomly placed clues on the smallest doll. Once teams find one amidst the Russian dancers, they can proceed. A little bit of luck will finish the task quickly, but nesting and unnesting all of the dolls will take time and be mildly, very, certainly, extremely irritating and frustrating.

Teams arrive at their chosen detour in the following order:

1. Ray/Yolanda choose Scour
2. Lake/Michelle choose Scour
3. Eric/Jeremy choose Scour
Eric : "It's all Ray/Yolanda's dumb idea"! (to do this detour)
Yolanda: Next time, choose your own damn Detour! (Woman, you rock!)
4. Wanda/Desiree choose Scrub
5. Danielle/Dani choose Scrub
6. Fran/Barry choose Scour - (Because they were lost)
7. BJ/Tyler choose Scour (Who also got lost)
8. Joseph/Monica choose Scrub (Becase they were also lost)
9-Dave/Lori choose Scrub (Because they were sharing cab with MoJo and had to be lost with them)

Teams complete the detour in the following order:

1. Eric/Jeremy
2. Lake/Michelle (DAMN!)
3. Ray/Yolanda (Who met the Hippies on the way out after they finished their detour)
4. BJ/Tyler (Who were so lucky and found the clue quickly)

However, there are teams still working, but these teams must now travel to St. Basils Cathedral in Red Square to find Phil. In the end, Eric/Jeremy arrive first...

Phil : (With no Pitstop greeter, had a stern expression on his face) Eric and Jeremy, you are the first team to arrive. (Frows his eyebrow) However, you are still racing, here is your next clue.

Eric/Jeremy : *shocks, heart attack* CALL THE AMBULANCE!! (not actually)

POpo, thank you very much for doing this....
I wasnt able to do this recap and unable to watch the episode..
It's our FINALS... Exams are my prioprities and I wanna say sorry for not telling you guys about this problem...
Hope you guys understand

By the way, your recap is awesome.... I didnt watch the episode cause that day was my Strength of Materials exam but reading your recap makes me imagine what happened....
