My god, they followed TAR 6 & 7 format and placed a non-elimination leg when there's only 3 teams remainingHuh!?!

TAR6 didn't have an NEL with three teams... they had it with 4 teams (Rebecca and Adam were saved by it)

Hmm, i forgot about it! But i think it's really stupid to put a non-elimination leg when the race is only down to 3 teams.

How do we know there's gonna be a non-elimination leg with the final three. They probably use TAR8 format.

TAR 8 had the really long leg... They flew to Mtl, did stuff there, slept over night in Olympic stadium, in the morning they flew to Toronto, did stuff there, drove to Niagara falls, did the boating thing, then the roadblock and finale....

Ah, I'd much rather have an NEL when there are four teams, don't really fancy the idea of an NEL with three teams left. That's boring. Haha.

Ruth, we always have the same thinking! Lol

I loathe NEL when we are down to the final 3! What's the point? Roll Eyes

In the first few seasons of TAR, I also think that an NEL in the Final 3 seemed pointless. When the money-stripping rule was imposed on TAR5 and succeeding seasons, and when it was NEL in the Final 4 (Colin/Christie saved), I then realized it will be unfair for a Final 3 team to come last in a NEL. Who would want to start the last leg, the race to the finish line, without money? BUT, when Uchenna and Joyce came from behind to win the game, I thought the NEL in the Final 3 wasn't too bad after all. It even makes the win all the more sweeter.

But i think whoever stumbled on the non-elimination when we are down to the final 3 will not be so lucky.. they will either come in 2nd and 3rd and not win!

TAR8 had the last leg to sort of broken down into Montreal competition and Toronto one.  They all got exhausted at the sadium in Mtrl and then bunched to 5 min. difference in flights. I think after that stadium the Weaver faily lost their spirit and that's why they came in third.
