I'd love to see those guys in last place. Every time they talk for any length of time, it's about scoring with girls, in the crudest terms. Shallow? their pictures are under the word in the dictionary.

Why is everyone down on the hippies? Because they're having fun? What did I miss? I'm glad that they came up to 3rd. They're fun to watch because they are having fun, and engage people of the country they are in at the time.

I love the Hippies as well. I am disappointed the other teams wanted them out. I guess it's because they're huge threats. And since they're down to the Final 5, teams become more competitive. If the Hippies didn't make that flight out of Oman, the other 4 would at least have an easy leg where they won't worry about elimination.

I'm so sad Fran and Barry were eliminated. I wasn't expecting it. I was hoping Joseph and Monica would be eliminated! I guess they built up the Hippies vs. MoJo story this week for next week's ultimate battle!

They did not do that in seasons 5,6,7 and 8. The only other alpha-male team comparable to Eric and Jeremy are Rob and Brennan back in TAR1. Come to think of it, Rob and Brennan are kind of flirty too, like flirting with the pit stop greeter in Sant Agatha.

Eric/Jeremy outrunning Monica/Joseph was awesome. I dont't think there has a been a close footrace to the pitstop this season till now. Even TAR8 had a few close ones. And now Eric/Jeremy are at the top again! I don't think you can fault them for being fit and athletic, because it takes more than physica prowess to win this game. Some of these other teams are young and fit as well.

If they had those kind of hitchhikers in North America that they did in Oman, I wouldn't mind picking one up. That Abdul Hamid was awesome hooking them up with gas, drinks and food.

OVerall, this leg's roadblocks and detours were pretty good. Nice scenery, and more of the skill -based challenges finally.

Actually, they should go back to casting competent teams period. E/J are having an "easy" race because the teams left aren't that "good". Fran/Barry could have shown them competition with their map reading skills, but they're out now. Only BJ/Tyler can beat them, and they're also an alpha male team!

If Kris and Jon were in this season, I'm pretty sure they can kick the frats a$$es out of the race!

Back to this episode: I found the tasks pretty boring. The Roadblock was great tho! I liked it that they had to find the place where they have to go down. No easy-to-see arrows of where to go next.

I loved the location of this Leg, Perth, Australia. I would love to go there someday. They say it's the most isolated city in Australia, but it seems like there's so much to do!

Who cares. You think the hippies were being serious about that? I think they'll just yield whoever at that moment they feel they should yield based on who's behind them, and who's the more competetive team. I doubt they would base yielding on personal reasons. That's just dumb strategy.
