TAR old-couples edition

I was talking to username and we were thinking about a season of TAR having only old-couple/old-teams because we felt there should be an old-couple reaching the finales and we thought it would be pretty cool seeing old people race against each other!

What do you guys think about it?

Make there be an All-female teams edition first.

An old couple has never made it to the finals.  Also, they were always struggling to keep up with the younger teams.  Having an old couple edition would even up the playing ground.  Although the pace would be slower, I definitely it would be interesting to watch.  10 seasons and finally a female team made it to the finals.  How much longer do we have to wait for an old couple to make it to the finals?  They are also casting more female teams than old couples.

Popo, yes, it would also be really nice to have an all females edition too.

username, not many people would like to see 11 teams whining from the starting line to the finishing line.

And if old people do something wicked, they are probably going to hell for it.. Sad
Which means everyone will be so nice to each other = boring.

Not all old people whine...for example...I have grandparents, they don't whine.

Why would old or young be the difference between going to hell or whatever whether or not they do something wicked or not?  Yes, it's true I haven't noticed any old couple doing something wicked, though.

Why not a return of the 2nd placers? A good mix of nice guys and villains.

I wouldn't mind seeing that as well. As long as it's not an all-male teams edition.

Yeah it would sort of suck.
The truth is most old-couples are nice to everyone but that doesnt mean there are not evil old people who are waiting to cast their wickedness around the globe, it would just be some sort of looking around between the audition tapes for one which has evil grandparents Grin
Or they could increase the old couples to two per race, on TAR 10 there was none and I kind of missed it...

That would be good, but in some seasons 3rd placers are better then 2nd placers

TAR4 was the only season where the 3rd placers were better then the 2nd placers. Even then that was one of the few seasons where the team that ran the race the best actually won the whole thing.

Why would you want ALL old-couples? Why not instead cast two or so strong, good old couples and then don't put in the strong alpha-male team? If neither of the two teams make it far, then it could mean that there's a REASON that old couples have never made it to the finale.

I wouldn't want one, i NEVER like the old couple teams...but

Teri & Ian have made the finals, and Meredith & Gretchen made it to 4th which is close enough.
