In addition, brazilian network RedeTV! announced in late 2006 that it would be producing a national version in 2007, to be called The Amazing Race: A Corrida Milionária. A one episode pilot was shot in 2006 in the northeast region of the country. Applications are open until July, with filming expected to occur in South America during September. The first season will premiere on October 13, 2007

This and AR: CE will be the only ARs I end up not watching. Boo.  Sad You know, I really hope they don't end up going overkill on this AR franchise. Too much and people would get sick of it.
