It looks like from here that Aaron tried to push the gate back up but he didn't catch it in time and Hera got bashed over the head with the heavy iron gate

Freddy was basically blaming Lori/Bolo, Jon/Kris and Adam/Rebecca because they were the first 3 teams to get the number to go on the train

I know but how is that even possible if it was them if they were at the front can't be in two places at once
 
Kris and Jon aren't even in the picture and Adam and Rebecca if they were both a little further right they would have been bashed by the gate too

Jon told Freddy to calm down. Lori told Freddy that her, Bolo, Jon and Kris didn't do it because they were way a head of Freddy when it happened.

Ok Freddy was looking at Jon. Lori goes "why are you looking at us (meaning Jon, Kris, Lori and Bolo)" Then Jon walks over to Freddy. Jon moves both hands and said "calm down would you?" Jonathan goes, "Hera got hit too."

Well, this brings memories. Smiley
 
My thought is it would be STUPID if Aaron really did try to bring the gate down (which he didn't). That would mean he'd have to pull it back up for him to get in.
 
What happened was the gate swung up, then bounced down, Aaron tried to stop it and failed, so it hit Hera on the head. It's not really anyone's fault.

I know she got totally creamed by that gate her head would have been throbbing for hours once i hit my head so hard i was dizzy for a good ten minutes lucky the gate didn't hit her hard enough to crack her skull (which can happen i've done that before whacked my head and needed to go to the doctor for stiches)
 
oh and i think Gus said that Hera got hit too i might have to re-watch that scene to see who was trying to calm Freddy because on the TWoP forum posters said that Jonathan was trying to calm him down
