Winning Statistics

This is quite interesting. Listed below is the overall finishing order of teams in every season. 1-12. Each shows how many total legs were won out of all combined seasons for that finishing position. Example: 1st - We would combine R/B, C/A, F/Z and all other winners.....This is only from TAR1-10. It will be updated after TAR11 is complete.

1st Place - 32 Wins
2nd Place - 34 Wins
3rd Place - 17 Wins
4th Place - 20 Wins
5th Place - 10 Wins
6th Place - 3 Wins
7th Place - 3 Wins
8th Place - 2 Wins
9th Place - 2 Wins
10th Place - 1 Win
11th Place - 1 Win
12th Place - 0 Wins

So, it's quite interesting that every overall position (except for 12th which isn't possible) has won a leg. Even more interesting is that 2nd place has won more legs then 1st and 4th more then 3rd.

That would explain the theory that the 2nd place finishing teams are always good teams that mess up on the final leg

ex. Colin and Christie, Kris and Jon, Rob and Amber, Eric and Jeremy, etc.

Basically, the final 3 teams will definitely come from one or more of the winners in the first 3 legs of the race.

The people that have won at least 1 leg have a very high chance of getting in the F3 unless of course something stupid screws them over

I agree on this. I've always felt that the second-placers were stronger than the winners, somehow they screw up on the last leg. It could be caused by flights, luck, etc. I always thought that fourth placers did very well too, just happened that they missed the Final 3. Oswald and Danny, Derek and Drew, Hayden and Aaron, Godlewskis.........

No they didn't

what you didn't see is that the last gondola from the temple thing was at 7PM and just as both Rebecca and Hayden were about to give up and take the 4 hour penalty Rebecca cracked the lock at 6:57PM

Erm, hence Hayden and Aaron didn't complete the Roadblock. Which means that they will still receive a 4 hour penalty AT THE PITSTOP even if it's a NEL right?

Just tell me how were they minutes behind if they didn't even complete the Roadblock?

Hayden and Aaron got to the pitstop first before Rebecca and Adam, and if Rebecca hadn't been able to luckily get the lock at the last moment they would have been eliminated

But they got it right? Obviously Adam and Rebecca knew Hayden and Aaron didn't find the lock, so why would they compete with them to reach the pitstop first when they knew Hayden and Aaron would be eliminated anyway? It's something like what Eric and Danielle did this week right? They knew Guidos had the 30 mins penalty and couldn't be bothered to hurry up.

It really is interesting that the 2nd placers have more wins than the first placers, but I thought their gap will be much bigger, not just 2 wins. I guess it's because the last two winners (BJ/Tyler, Tyler/James) are quite strong teams and had multiple 1st-placers themselves.

There's a HUGE gap with the wins of the Final 5 compared to the bottom placers. I think it means if you can finish a Leg in first place then it's very likely you'll be able to reach Final 5.
