The Fast Forward used to be many things. Now it isn't anything.

IN TAR1-4, there was an FF on each of the 1st 11 legs of the race; the last two legs did not have an FF. From TAR5 on, there has been only 2 FF for each season.

When you had the FF on every leg, there was a sense of strategy that is now missing. You would take it early if you were a bad team and wanted to do well. If you had an injury (Oswald/Danny). You would take it save it for as late as possible to propel your way to the F3 (Tara/Wil, David/Jeff). There was always a strategy for it. Go for it now or save it. Now, there is no strategy. Since the FF is now a rarity and is only on the show twice, the first team to the clue box always takes the FF. All it does is give the 1st team at the clue box, a better lead.

Even worse now, you are allowed to take the FF as much as you want. It's not fair that one team is allowed to claim both FFs. Why not get rid of the FF on the Intersection and replace it with a YIELD. That would be interesting. But now, the FF is dead. There is no strategy behind it at all. You just take it when you can.

Totally true the FF was initally meant for teams at the back who were not doing well to take it the people who were out in front knew there would be plently of opportunites to take it now there isn't so teams don't even bother if they aren't team 1

I *think* it's not a case of "as much as you want", but rather how a "team" is defined. Basically, the rule is "once a team used their FF, they can never use the FF for the rest of the Race." I'm speculating that an Intersected team is considered different from a basic team. So team Uchenna/Joyce/Oswald/Danny is different from team Oswald/Danny. So technically, Team O/D haven't used their FF yet.

Do I agree with the current rule? No, I think it's unfair. They need to change it.
