Last Season of TAR?

There is a rumor going around that this is the last season of the Amazing Race.  Does anybody know if this is true or false?  The Amazing Race normally begins looking for teams to compete before now but they haven't even accepted any applications!

No, its probably just delayed or maybe CBS is getting better at hiding things so maybe the adverts for casting are hidden and only people that really want to be on TAR would find them

According to wiki:
 
"Applications were due on January 16, 2007. Semi-finalist interviews will be held sometime in February or March of 2007. Final casting interviews will take place in April 2007. Filming will take place sometime between June to August of 2007."
 
...Meaning season 12 will not start for a while  Sad

There needs to be a break heh, CBS probably has other shows that are in Survivor/TAR timeslots that need to be shown, so i'd expect about a 3 month break, remember it only takes them 1 month to film TAR and not much longer for Survivor.

Don't TAR/Survivor always go Sept/Oct-Dec, end of Feb-May then CBS breaks them and has BB July-September?

I do not want this to be the last season definitely. I can't bring myself to think of TAR with the prospect of Eric/Danielle, BQ's or Schmirna possibly winning the very last season of TAR.
