I have always thought it was interesting how for the first nine seasons of the show, every team in the F3 had won a leg prior to the final leg. However, of late, this hasn't happened.

In TAR10, Lyn & Karlyn made there way into the finals having only finished second (twice, also interesting that it was the two legs before the final).

In TAR11, Eric & Danielle made there way into the finals and despite a race full of NELs, medicore runs, and Yields, they won.

In TARA1, Joe Jer & Zabrina ran steady throughout the race and for the last six legs, they moved up the leaderboard won spot, going from 6th, to 5th, to 4th, to 3rd, to 2nd, and finally they won the final leg. There best finish prior to the finale, was the second place on the previous leg (it was there only second).

With the way Marc & Rovilson are dominating TARA2 (5 Leg wins in a row, for a total of 5/6 legs) I predict that they may possibly be the only team in the final three, with a win. If not that, then I'm sure there will be at least one team in there who hasn't won prior.

Also, right now, Nathan & Jennifer are tied with Kynt & Vyxsin, Jonathan & Victoria, Joseph & Monica, and Charla & Mirna (TAR5) for most second place finishes without a win at three. They have two more legs before the finale, to win, or else they will most likely either add to the list of teams who entered the F3 without a win, or make history as the team with the most 2nd places despite winning, or they could just finish 3rd and 4th for the rest of the way.

Another interesting note, to this day through 12 seasons, we have yet to see a female/female team win. Yet in TARA1 and TARB1, both have resulted in F/F winners.

I think that they have female winners in other versions is because they have much more all female teams than other types of teams. Also, and I know some people will disagree on this note, I think that the all-female teams on TAR12 were quite weak teams (Kate/Pat), stupid teams (Shana/Jennifer) or unlucky teams (Marianna/Julia)

LOL((I also don't think I had any first place finished before that and the highest I had gotten was 2nd.)

The race has to do a lot with luck its so happens that almost all the female teams in every race has had bad luck.

Not according to Tyler's topic of discussion, but i re-watched TAR 5 finale and realized that when Chip and Kim won and Colin and Christie came in as the second team, there wasn't any cutting and editing and Colin and Christie came in only 2mins 25secs after Chp and Kim.. heard that they had a flat tyre.. and it really sucks because it ultimately caused them the race!!

But go watch it again and there wasn't really any editing. Phil was talking to Chip and Kim all the while after they arrived at the mat for around 2min 35seconds before Colin and Christie abruptly arrive and the teams started cheering and Phil has to stop talking to Chip and Kim.
