The cracking phenomenon of stainless steel products often occurs during the drawing process, and the lateral or spot cracking of the side wall is a common processing failure form of 304 stainless steel products, such as thermal insulation cups and high pressure cookers. In particular, in recent years, the working process of product processing has been promoted continuously. For example, the number of drawing channels of the insulation cup has been reduced from 5 times to 3 commonly used at present. The lateral or spot crack defects of the side wall of stainless steel products may be caused by intergranular defects such as inclusions, delta ferrite and other materials, and may also be caused by deep drawing process and deep drawing oil in the processing of stainless steel products.201 Grade Precision 8k Stainless Steel Coils
The lateral or spot cracking of the side wall of the 304 stainless steel insulation cup is mainly caused by the inclusions or delta ferrite in the material matrix, so the following two points should be controlled in the manufacturing process of stainless steel.
(1) improve the purity of the material and reduce the content of inclusions in the matrix of stainless steel.
(2) improve the composition design and heat and cold rolling annealing process to reduce the content of the delta ferrite in the stainless steel matrix.

(1) changing the forming method from deep drawing to equal thickness drawing.
(2) increasing the drawing depth and increasing the fillet radius of the die to reduce the deformation difficulty of the material.
