You can get to eleven seconds by just manoevering through the beginning maze and heading up to the upper left hand corner and sitting there.

The blue blocks do not move randomly they repeat the same pathways over and over. So as you get to see where you get caught the first time you can re-assess based on the location of the blocks which stop when you touch them or the black sides.
